Nonagon Infinity by the Australian psychedelic rock band  King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, released in 2016.

A peculiarity of this album is that it was designed to be played in a "continuous loop," endlessly (hence the title): each song morphs into the next, and the last, with the same logic, morphs into the first, without interruption.

It was their most successful album to date, the first to reach the top 20 of the Australian charts.

The band has revisited various aspects of the album in subsequent projects, such as "Robot Stop," which features microtonal tuning, a technique explored in depth in "Flying Microtonal Banana

The psychedelic rock on this album is beautiful, with a less progressive leaning than its other albums, but definitely engaging and fun with its up-tempo and catchy compositions.

The rhythm section of two drummers and bass is truly exceptional, without taking anything away from the harmonica, guitar, and organ, which are also excellent on this album.

My favorite track is "Gamma Knife," a powerhouse of energy.

Recommended for all psychedelic rock lovers (who will surely already be familiar with it), and if you don't... listen to it on loop!!
