Ash Ra Tempel's 1973 album, Join Inn, marks the end of their collaboration with  Klaus Schulze.

Along with Ash Ra Tempel, their self-titled debut, it is considered one of the high points of the Krautrock movement.

An innovative use of electronic music and impressive experimental free-form jams, the sound features intense psychedelic rock on one side and a calm, spacey ambient mood on the other, with Rosi Müller's splendid vocals.

One of the band's highlights with Klaus Schulze and a prime example of Kosmische Musik, or German Krautrock.

Two sides with two distinct sounds, two tracks, one on each side with a distinctive character.
"Freak 'n' Roll," the first side's track, is a powerful, heavy psychedelic rock, driven by Klaus Schulze's drums and Manuel Göttsching's wailing wah-wah guitars. He is known for his wild, free-form improvisation.

"Jenseits," the track on the second side, is a sweeping ambient piece, characterized by Schulze's spacey synth chords, Rosi Müller's mystical vocals, and Göttsching's atmospheric guitar work.

It is a classic of the Kosmische Musik and Krautrock genres, featuring exceptional harmony between Manuel Göttsching on guitar, Klaus Schulze on drums and synthesizers, and bassist Hartmut Enke.

This album is a must-have for lovers of the genre and fans of this band, representing the two distinct natures of Ash Ra Tempel's sound: extremely energetic psychedelic jams and evocative ambient sound.
