If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You by the great Caravan, from 1970, at the height of the Canterbury Scene, is an album that in my personal ranking vies for the top spot in the band's discographic catalog with  In the Land of Grey and Pink,, another masterpiece.

Beautiful from the first note to the last, a masterpiece in the history of progressive rock, one of the pinnacles of Caravan's discography. Excellent songs and superb arrangements, top performance, splendid jazz-rock.

A fundamental album for the Canterbury Scene, blending rock, jazz, and psychedelia, with a sophisticated sound and the organ prominently featured in complex arrangements.

The album immediately inspires joy with the hilarious title track, which opens in 7/8 time, followed by songs with different moods, intense proggy Canterbury style, with accents, and in 7/4 time, with "Hello Hello" being pure fun, with a splendid melodic line.

How could I not mention the classic "For Richard," the song that defines Caravan, striking and astonishing every time with its melodies and variations—an immense piece.

I also love the fourth track, "With an Ear to the Ground You Can Make It / Martinian / Only Cox / Reprise," a magnificent composition and performance.

The band is amazing: Richard Sinclair on bass, complex and precise, emerging without being intrusive; Coughlan is perfect and in a state of grace; David Sinclair elevates the organ and piano with mastery and lightness when needed; and guitarist and singer Pye Hastings with his beautiful voice and guitar solos that complement those of Pye's brother, Jimmy, with his splendid horn and flute solos.

Splendid debut that traced the band's style, an indispensable masterpiece
