Buried Alive, a live album by Änglagård recorded in 1994 at the Los Angeles Progfest, released in 1996.
It's a "strange" live album, over 70 minutes long, for a band that had only two studio albums under its belt up until that point: a sort of live "compilation" featuring most of the tracks from one of the best modern symphonic rock albums, their debut, Hybris.
The only downside is the production: the recording is mediocre, with varying levels of volume.
From the recording, you can hear the audience chiming in at the beginning and end of each song, as happens when music is listened to carefully to fully appreciate its beauty and complexity.
Musically, those familiar with this band already appreciate the beauty and intensity of their compositions; for those who don't, I think it's time to do so.
And perhaps this live compilation can be a worthy start.
