For the Music, the sixth and final album by the musical duo Blackfield formed by Aviv Geffen and Steven Wilson with the latter's participation becoming less and less frequent as in the last albums, here limited to contributions in lyrics, guitar, and vocals, album from 2020.
The art-prog sounds that characterized the project's early albums are missing, which is why I started with the concept of initial Easy Listening.
It is a pop rock album always excellently produced, an enjoyable album with accurate and clean sounds. The compositions are for a less demanding audience but still superior to many bands crowding the mainstream…
It’s an album I like to listen to as background music to lighten the atmosphere, but it remains the work of two heavyweights, of course.
The track Over & Over is beautiful, among my favorites of the album.
If you have the others, get this one to complete the collection of this band that has done many excellent things.
