Storia di un minuto the debut album by the immense  Premiata Forneria Marconi from 1972.

An album that, along with Per Un Amico  rightfully ranks among the finest progressive rock albums of all time, not only in Italian progressive rock, but in prog in general.

It was a turning point in Italian music thanks to its technical quality and innovative approach to progressive rock, the complexity of the compositions, the alternation between intimate and powerful moments, and the emotional impact the album had on listeners and critics, marking the beginning of a new era.

Thanks to this album, PFM became one of the most important bands on the Italian and international scene, and it is considered fundamental to their career and the development of the genre in Italy.

The album was a landmark, introducing a new level of complexity and a sonic exploration that influenced many artists.

Tracks like "Impressioni di Settembre" demonstrate PFM's ability to create a balance between more delicate passages, such as the piano, and more powerful and dramatic moments, with references to theatrical or band atmospheres.

An exceptional debut, with songs that are truly magnificent for a debut album, including the well-known "E' Festa" and more.

A gem of Italian progressive rock, containing some of PFM's finest tracks, packed with great pieces performed with absolute mastery.

A masterpiece without a doubt. Acoustic guitar, flute, Moog and Mellotron, violin. All blended together in a fantastic way, creating magical atmospheres.

Impressioni di Settembre is in itself a masterpiece of '70s prog.

A short but intense album, with a sound that's still relevant today. A must-have for any collection.
