Live at Carnegie Hall by Renaissance, released in 1976.

It was recorded live on June 20, 21, and 22, 1975 at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Amazing concert, their consecration, for the first time they present the new album just released, the absolute masterpiece Scheherazade and Other Stories from 1975, and Prologue, Can You Understand, Carpet of the Sun and an extraordinary extended version of Ashes Are Burning, Running Hard and Mother Russia, Ocean Gypsy and the suite Scheherazade, wonderful.

Exceptional recording quality for a record of that era, excellent performance, a sound that comes from the fusion of symphonic rock, classical and folk with a real orchestra, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, with the angelic and powerful voice with a five-octave range of Annie Haslam and a masterful keyboard work by John Tout.

An exciting, at times moving, beautiful record, at the cost of only 6000 lire... when I bought it at the second-hand market they told me that the reduced price of the double vinyl was due to the poor commercial success it achieved (at least in Italy), incredible for such a beautiful record.

Excellent record, great live.
