Tilt (Images for an Ear), Arti e Mestieri's debut album from 1974.

An extraordinary Italian jazz-rock fusion band, they owe much to Furio Chirico's superb drumming, Giovanni Vigliar's exceptional violin, and Luigi "Gigi" Venegoni's guitar. They also feature Beppe Crovella on keyboards, superb brass parts with Arturo Vitale, and Marco Gallesi's precise, deep bass.

A group from the Italian progressive rock movement, they are a masterpiece with superb instrumental parts—brass, violin, piano, and guitar—excellent percussion and vocals. They also feature interesting, pure avant-garde pieces, including a 13-minute-plus track, "Articolazioni," and the closing song, "Tilt," which are their strong points.

The individual performances are superb for this highly complex mix of rock, folk, fusion, and avant-garde.

Individually, great musicians with exceptional compositions and arrangements unite them. The beautiful mellotron, violin, and wind parts act as an orchestra, with the tempos marked by Chirico's superb drumming and a rock atmosphere with Venegoni's solos, without losing the jazz essence, especially thanks to the keyboards and piano.

The beautiful sequence "Gravità 9.81," "Strips," "Corrosione," "Positivo/Negativo," and the song "Articolazioni" are simply spectacular.

I consider it a masterpiece and highly recommend it!
