Liveforms: Haken's Fauna Live In London released in 2025
I don't think there's much to say about the band. They continue to churn out top-notch albums with a distinctive, personal style, drawing on influences from the legendary prog bands of the 1970s and the strongest bands in the progressive metal scene today, but with a taste, concreteness, and credibility that place them among the top bands in this musical world.
I hadn't heard any other Haken live shows, so I listened to this one with great attention. I must say, their live performance is truly magnificent.
This vinyl version includes all the tracks from the Fauna album, as well as "The Last Lullaby," a song originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese CD-only edition of the album, which is a reworking of "Eyes of Ebony."
The crowd went wild, the performance was perfect, and the live recording was excellent. This band never disappoints. Their work is incredible, and these musicians truly give it their all live, maintaining their style, clarity, and precision. The rhythm section is great, with exceptional bass and drums.
The cover is a cartoon version, just like the insert, and there are beautiful concert photos.
A must-have for fans of this great band!
